Now I'm learning how important it is to have a good coach that can bring out one's best as far as muscle structure, etc. I have a small lower belly like most of us! In that case it's not necessary to train them more than a couple of times a week and you would consider adding resistance to your exercises.
I am continually "watching" my waistline though especially as I try to add some muscle. You continue to make amazing changes to your body SO very quickly and you HAVE achieved that hourglass look because of your commitment to do so. Even with a great diet do you still have troubles with your waistline? I do want more definition but I know my abs and core are still weak and I'm not sure even if I lost the fat they would look that good!
If you are meaning you want to build muscle then you would train your abs just like you train every other body part. You might just need to bring a parent with you but go for it and God bless you!!
